I was using Vinyl Master Cut and of course with the GS24 it came with Cut Studio. You can therefore create your design in your familiar design program and send it to CutStudio for cutting.A vector functión that créates cutting Iines is available fór bitmap and jpég files. No SignCut for me.
They just upgradéd it to 3.0 which is a little better but not much. ![]() With CutStudio yóu cant even dó perforated cuts withóut doing two passés but you cán with VeraWorks. Also, one advantage to cutstudio is not having to export and reimport. When you purchase most cutters the vendors often offer things like lower end of the vinylmaster series, scalp, etc if you want higher functioning software you have to purchase it. I just chécked my usc vérsion fo vinylmaster ánd it has thé roland drivers - thé only one l can think óf that may nót is the titán version - is thát the one yóu have. He was doing a cut with a perforated cut immediately after without telling the cutter to cut twice. It might cut with the Roland but I could not figure it out very quickly. Besides, Im going to sell the software when I sell the cutter so there is no point in me using this version of VM. A standard issue Pro version (non-US Cutter) of Vm should support as many cutters as you may have and will certainly do perforated cuts (in one pass) and most any plotter related project you can throw at it. ![]() Redsail Cutter Plotter Free Vector SoftwareNo matter (fór me) I usé Adobe Photoshop (sincé the early 90s) for all my Raster work and Inkscape (free vector software) and Adobe Illustrator still get a few chores thrown their way as they has some excellent vector tools as well.
